Wooden Boat Festival 2009

All loaded up and ready to go at Huonville on Wednesday morning. Stuey, Julie, Rob, Lynne and I. Camping gear and a couple of nights food to get us to Hobart.
We didn't get far, almost to the first bend in the river when we hit a sunken log and cracked the centre board case. Here is The Sally full of water back at the slipway.
Pumping madly to keep her afloat while we get her back on the trailer.

Fixing the crack took most of the rest of the day.

Evening light on the stern and the new paintwork.

The Parade of Sail up the Derwent as all the boats arrive at the Festival Friday afternoon.

The square rigger below is the Young Endeavour, the sail training ship Louisa spend a couple of weeks on in May 07.

Stuey, the other owner of The Sally on the helm.
